The “Parti-Buk Redemption Center” is now open and ready to turn those highly-prized and valuable Parti-Buks into awesome beads, crystals, findings, and various other jewelry making stuff. But you may have some questions which we we will now graciously answer.

• What are Parti-Buks?
  • Parti-Buks are the official currency of the Gemstone Orphanage. They may be exchanged for all kinds of super-cool stuff found only at the “Parti-Buk Redemption Center” within the Gemstone Orphanage webstore.
• How do I use them?
  • Go into the “Parti-Buk Redemption Center” and begin loading up your shopping cart with all of the sparkly and shiny stuff you can carry. When you have all of the stuff you want (Ha, ha. Whoever has enough beads and jewelry stuff), then take your cart to the check out counter. There you can enter in your Individual & Unique, Super Secret, Parti-Buk code and it will be applied to your purchase. You can then finish checking out.
  • Parti-Buks can only be used once a month and are revalued at the end of each month.
• What if I don’t spend all of my Parti-Buks?
  • Firstly, congratulations on showing amazing restraint. We keep track of all unused Parti-Buks and will reset your personal Parti-Buk Code at the end of each month with the new amount. You can then use your Code for future purchases.
• What if my cart total is for more than I have in Parti-Buks?
  • All items in the Redemption Center have a dollar price, which we exchange, straight across, Parti-Buks for US Dollars. If your checkout charge is for more money than you have Parti-Buks, the balance will need to be paid in US Dollars. You can also remove items from your cart to bring the balance below your Parti-Buk limit.
• What if I don’t have any Parti-Buks but I want some stuff out of the Redemptions Center?
  • We can’t stop you just buying stuff from the Redemption Center, but you will be using inflated dollars to do so. Parti-Buks are going to be your best value. So, get with it, participate a little, and get you some Parti-Buks.
• What about using Parti-Buks to pay for shipping?
  • Unfortunately, most of the world’s financial institutions and shipping institutions don’t yet recognize Parti-Buks as legal tender. We are working on it and hope to change things really soon. Until then, the US Postal Service, along with most other shipping companies, insist on being paid in US Dollars. A flat $6.00 shipping fee is charged on all orders shipped within the US. You can combine your Redemption Center order with stuff from the other Gemstone Orphanage stores and the shipping will apply to the complete order.
• Can I use Parti-Buks to pay for stuff from Adopt-a-Box and other Gemstone Orphanage Stores?
  • Nope.
• How do I grab me a fist-full of these Parti-Buks?
  • Parti-Buks are awarded to those who participate in various challenges, events, contests, and other official events announced on the Gemstone Orphanage Facebook Group.
  • Parti-Buks may also be given for participation, above and beyond what the rest of the world deems normal, for all sorts of things outside the normal planned and announced events within the Gemstone Orphanage community.
  • We may also bestow Parti-Buks upon individuals just because we want to and because we can.
